Brian F. Donnelly began his financial services career in 2001. He specializes in providing retirement income counseling to academic professionals, doctors, and dentists. Brian works with individuals during the accumulation phase of pre-retirement savings, throughout the distribution phase of income and legacy planning. He guides his clients and provides them the professional resources to make the most appropriate financial planning decisions based on their individual needs and goals. Brian has provided retirement planning seminars and individualized retirement planning consultations to employees at Rutgers University and the New Jersey Medical School.
In 2003, Brian achieved the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist® from the College for Financial Planning. The designation is achieved through a course of study that covers the asset management process; investors, policy and change; risk, return and investment performance; asset allocation and selection; investment strategies; taxation of investment products; investment opportunities for individual retirement; investment considerations for small business owners; executive compensation and benefit plans; insurance products for investment clients; estate planning; and regulatory and ethical issues.
Brian’s passions include the charitable work he does within the community with organizations such as Covenant House and the Ronald McDonald House. Brian is also on the Board of Directors of Circle of Life Children’s Center and was the title sponsor for the University Hospital Annual Golf outing which raised funds to refurbish patient waiting rooms.
