As the director of channel and customer support for Vertex SMB, Diana’s current roles include providing support to Vertex SMB TaxCentral customers and partners, creating documentation for training purposes, and working closely with the development team on integrating new features and functions to TaxCentral. She comes to Vertex SMB with over 20 years of tax experience in numerous disciplines. An accomplished public speaker and author, Diana has developed numerous papers and presentations on the topic of taxation. She was published by the Journal of Accountancy and has been quoted numerous publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine. Her primary tax disciplines are indirect taxes, such as sales and use, and industry expertise in telecommunications and leasing. Within those disciplines, Diana has developed further industry-recognized expertise in the areas of tax technology, jurisdiction identification, and local tax processing. Previously, she was a director of product development for SpeedTax and worked as a senior manager in the state & local tax (SALT) services group at Grant Thornton. Diana holds her B.S. in Information Sciences at Penn State Great Valley.
