Outside of the office, Sarah is active with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where she was honored as Woman of the Year in 2016. In 2019, she rejoined the campaign as national Woman of the Year candidate as she and her team set out to raise an additional $200,000 for blood cancer research in a ten-week period.
