Course Description

Join us for an insightful conversation providing foundational context as to why and how private equity is entering the accounting space. Led by a founder of a pioneering Private Equity (PE) rollup strategy in the accounting space, this course will demystify Private Equity, explore its increasing presence in the sector, and discuss the profound implications for accountants. Most importantly, we will focus on how you can fully benefit from the evolving accounting industry. The materials we’ll cover will provide tactical insights for business owners looking to retire in less than 5 years and those earlier in their accounting career looking to grow an accounting practice. We’ll provide you with a behind-the-scenes, transparent perspective that accounting business owners need to know, but few are openly explaining.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the direct impact of private equity on the accounting industry and its professionals

  • Recognize the implications of industry changes for accountants considering retirement within five years versus early-career professionals

  • Determine optimal strategies for accounting professionals to capitalize on evolving industry dynamics for economic growth

  • Outline alternative options to private equity for accounting firms and learn how to navigate industry challenges effectively
